A Guide to Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s Royal Wedding Guest List

Another royal wedding is on the horizon! On Oct. 12, Princess Eugenie, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah "Fergie" Ferguson, Duchess of York, will marry Jack Brooksbank at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. In July, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Eugenie and Jack have invited 1,200 members of the public to watch the arrival of the wedding guests and members of the royal family, a live broadcast of the ceremony, and the start of the procession as the bride and groom leave St George’s Chapel. (You’ll recall Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did something similar when they got married at the same location in May.)

Eugenie and Jack, who announced their engagement in January 2018 after seven years of dating, are extremely well connected outside of the palace. Here’s who will probably show up in their royal wedding best (day dresses and hats for the ladies, morning coats for the gentlemen):

Members of the Royal Family

This includes Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Princess Anne, Eugenie’s parents Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, Prince Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton, newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and other royal cousins, aunts, and uncles. (Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, will not be at the wedding due to “long-standing invitations” to attend a harvest festival in Scotland, according to PEOPLE.)

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are expected to have major roles in the wedding as a pageboy and bridesmaid, respectively (although baby Prince Louis is not expected to attend, because he is a baby). And as previously announced, Eugenie’s sister Princess Beatrice will be maid of honor at the wedding.

The Brooksbank family and friends

The groom’s parents Jack and Nicola will be there, of course, along with Jack's younger brother Thomas, who works in business management for a London-based asset management company. Among the extended fam, expect to see other high-ranking people, as the groom is a descendent of the Brooksbank baronets (a title just below baron).

Pippa Middleton and James Matthews

Pippa is eight months pregnant so she’ll either skip the wedding or arrive in the most gorgeous royal maternity wear (think Zara Tindall at Harrry and Meghan’s wedding in May). Recall: Eugenie and Jack attended Pippa and James’s wedding in 2017.

Cressida Bonas

Eugenie and Prince Harry’s ex have been friends for years, and Cressida has always been close with the family. In fact, legend has it that Eugenie was the one who introduced her to Harry in 2012 (they dated for about two years). Unless Cressida booked, I don’t know, an important vacation with a strict cancelation policy, expect to see her at the wedding—she was also at Harry’s wedding in May, after all, and is often seen with Eugenie at society weddings and events.

Chelsy Davy

And yes, Harry’s other ex has also been friends with Eugenie for a number of years. Chelsy, who dated Harry on and off from 2004 to 2010, has been to a number of royal weddings, including Kate Middleton and Prince William’s in 2011 and most recently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s in May 2018.

Ellie Goulding

The singer has been one of Eugenie’s longtime celebrity friends. The two are often seen on vacation together charity events together. In 2017, the BFFs sat court side with Eugenie’s soon-to-be fiancé Jack at an NBA game between the Knicks and Nets at Madison Square Garden. Expect Ellie’s date to be her fiancé, Caspar Jopling. The couple announced their engagement on Aug. 7, 2018 in the marriage section of The Times in the UK.

James Blunt and Sofia Wellesley

The singer and his wife’s connections to the royals are quite strong, considering she’s the daughter of Lord and Lady Henry Wellesley (her grandfather was the 8th Duke of Wellington). The couple, who have been married since 2014, were also guests at Harry and Meghan’s wedding.

George and Amal Clooney

Nothing says royalty outside of the royal palace than the Clooneys. The likelihood of their attendance is strong: Jack is the UK brand ambassador for Casamigos Tequila, co-founded by George Clooney and BFF Rande Gerber (see next entry).

Jack’s Casamigos connection could also mean that at least one supermodel will be at his wedding. Or maybe it’s two, now that Cindy and Rande’s daughter Kaia is also a big name in the fashionindustry.

Robbie Williams and Ayda Field

Per royal reporter extraordinaire Katie Nicholl in Vanity Fair, the couple is friends with the bride and groom–good friends indeed, so mush so that their daughter Theodora will reportedly be a bridesmaid at the wedding.

Sir Elton John and David Furnish

Again, per Nicholl in Vanity Fair, Eugenie and Jack have invited Elton John, who’s been a longtime friend of the royals. The legendary entertainer and his husband David Furnish were guests at Meghan and Harry’s wedding in May and were also at Kate and William’s nuptials in 2011.

David and Victoria Beckham

Like Elton John and David Furnish, the Beckhams have long been associated with the royals, especially when it comes to charity work. Let’s hope history will repeat itself, meaning David will stop traffic with his morning coat and Posh will have another sensational headpiece.

Bonus: Keanu Reeves

This invitation rumor is solely based on the 2016 photo op between Keanu and Beatrice during an Art Basel gala in Switzerland. No word on if he’ll actually show up, and if he’ll bring Winona Ryder.
