We’ve all been there: You’re at a concert, just jamming out, losing your mind and getting lost in the music of one of your favorite artists. It’s always a night of pure fun and enjoyment. But for Halsey, she may have jammed out a little too hard while at a recent event.

On Saturday, December 1, Halsey attended The Story So Far’s Hollywood Palladium concert. Throughout the night, she tweeted live updates about how exciting and riveting the show was. At first, things seemed to be going well. Talking about band member Parker Cannon, she joked, “Parker was wearing the best jacket. Parka Cannon.”

But then, things seemed to get a little too intense. After moshing to the band’s song “Roam,” she tweeted, “I went so hard during ‘Roam’ both my hoop earrings swung out of my ears. If you ended up with them please don’t sell them on eBay.”

R.I.P Halsey’s hoops. But hey, who hasn’t been there? When the music is so loud and invigorating, it’s easy to just get lost in it. And that means sometimes, you’ll end up with a wardrobe malfunction.

Some fans responded to the tweet by sharing similar experiences. One said, “Dude I was in the pit for state champs a couple months ago and not only did I lose my favorite earrings that I bought myself when I studied abroad this summer, but LOOK AT THIS BRUISE. Punk shows are my life.” Another added their story, saying, “Pretty sure most stuff lost in a mosh pit ends up in the trash. I lost my Fitbit in a Bad Religion mosh pit, and I never saw it synchronize again on the website, so I don't think anyone else docked the thing again after I lost it.”

Other fans expressed concern, hoping that Halsey’s ears weren’t injured. And by the looks of it, as she kept adding fun moments to the thread, it appears she was indeed okay. “I love my Entire Life and I’ve loved this band with my crew for my whole career and tonight was Tight,” she said.

A tip for fellow concert lovers and Halsey alike: maybe stick to earring studs next time just to be safe?
